My Bio
I'm one of those artists who seemingly has ADD. I'll go from working on a new ear cuff design one moment, to seeing a picture and starting a photomanip the next. In between, if I see something that really strikes me, I'll grab my camera and take a few shots, hoping one turns out to be a keeper.

Years ago, I spent much of my time with a pencil, pad of paper, and a reference photo. I've always written random stuff, though that is a type of art I seldom share. Now that I'm grown up, I can afford to explore my other artistic interests and frequently do. These include everything from costuming (fantasy and renaissance), jewelry making, photography, and now digital art. Though my main focus is fantasy, I enjoy drawing inspiration from all the beauty around me. Because of that, my art tends to be a bit random, but I feel if we focus too much on one thing, we tend to miss the rest of the world passing by.

Someone once told me, 'you never know what tomorrow will bring so live in the moment.' That's what I live by every single day.

About 6 years ago, I moved from Missouri up to Wisconsin and discovered that the frozen north really does exist. Along with all this snow comes wonderful opportunities, however, for beautiful art. Wintertime is when I get the most done creatively it seems and with the new camera I got for Christmas, it will probably be a lot of new photos with a dab of digital. Hopefully during the next few days, I'll be able to post the new art that I've been working on for everyone to see and even considering dragging out the ball pythons for a group photo as Reg has been watching Ceti quite closely with it being breeding season and all. What is everyone el

Well, Bristol was mostly a success. The girls loved it and had a blast in their (hastily constructed) costumes. The reason I say mostly is because about half of my pictures, including the nice ones of their costumes, were deleted when they decided to 'help' by taking the 'blurry' pictures off my camera. Thank goodness for software that allows you to restore things like that. I got most of them back but still didn't get the ones from the beginning with TMKD's booth or their costume shots. Oh well. Since then, I've picked up some more rocks and crystals to play with in jewelry making and this morning, my husband woke me up to a surprise. My cor

In two days, one of the best Renaissance Faires in the country begins and this year, we found out we get to take my two stepdaughters, Carly and Ali, with us. They got to go about 3 years ago and loved it and I promised them that next time they went, they would be in costume. Since we only just found out that we were getting them, I've been sewing skirts tonight and bodices are tomorrow's project. Hoping to get jewelry, belt pouches, and some form of belt done by Saturday morning. This reminds me of the time my sister and I managed to pull off four Scottish costumes in 48 hours, got three hours sleep, and then went to the Kansas City Renaissa

Love the gallery. Especially the ear cuffs, they're amazing. Amazing talent with pencil and paper too.
Thanks for the watch!
thanks so much for the watch!
Thank you for the fav and the watch. You've got an intriguing gallery... I'm going to go stare at the snakes some more now! :D
Lol! Thanks. I have a thing for dragons but it's been so long since I've been able to sit down and do my own so I enjoy staring at others work of them and yours are amazing!
Hi. Thanks for favoriting my Dragon & Prince stone sculpture. I thought, if you like wings in general, you might enjoy my winged design for the DA t-shirt design challenge. You can see it at:

and if you like it, please vote for it (just click I’d Wear This) – first round winners are determined by vote. Thanks!
By the way, I really like your Tree of Life crystal, and those long ear cuffs are a neat idea, and the dragonscale bracelet. I guess you could do anklets and belts and necklaces too in dragonscale. And headcaps.
Thank you for the :+fav:!!! I really appreciate your kindness!
